As Business development manager, you will work in collaboration with the Soil and biomass treatment team. Assist in the project management of residuals organics in Ontario and Eastern USA
# Develop Market intelligence Database for organic waste in Ontario and Eastern USA
# Ensure compliance of projects with local rules, laws and regulations.
# Support the business development stages for new composting sites and organic waste processing and beneficial in Ontario
# Meet authorities as required for authorization process of new facility (MECP, municipal, township)
# Manage process to get approval for required certificate of authorization (ECA): With the legal team, manage mandatory steps for new contractual agreement required
# Build business cases with finance team as required (Revenue, capex, cost, cashflow)
# Follow-up on the financial and administrative requirements of business development projects
# Support excess soil business development team as needed
# Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of the environment, waste or material management
Business development experience will be strongly considered
Ability to establish business relation with different types of partners and stakeholders
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a related field
Knowledge applied in the waste management sector (an asset)
Experience in consulting engineering, contractor, technical sales, waste or water management (an asset)
Experience in budgets and projects development (schedule, coordination of resources) (an asset)
