Are you a passionate Accounts Payables expert and eager to embark on a new professional journey? Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of engineered polymer products is currently hiring an Accounting Administrator for their Elora location. The Accounting Administrator will be responsible for handling different aspects of daily banking, accounts receivable and payable transactions, and assisting in maintaining account reconciliations. This position reports to the Controller of the company and is an on-site position.
Accounting Administrator Responsibilities: Prepare daily deposits and post cash receipts to company accounting software
Accounts receivable support –collection activity, some AR invoicing, customer set-up
Maintain effective billing and collection practices for outstanding accounts receivable.
Collects accounts by contacting customers, investigating, and resolving collection issues.
Accounts payable support – fielding and responding to supplier inquiries, AP invoice processing and check runs
Account reconciliations – aid in preparing monthly account reconciliations
Accounts Receivable and Month End are prioritized
Accounting Administrator Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with very strong MS Excel skills
Post Secondary Education in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
5+ years experience in the Accounting field
Enrolled in or planning to enroll in a program resulting in a professional accounting designation is an asset.
Onsite full time from Monday to Friday (8:00AM – 4:30PM)
Full time, permanent
