Winters Instruments is currently looking for a highly-motivated, driven and focused Regional Sales Manager to cover the region of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. The right candidate will be based in Alberta (ideally Calgary or Edmonton). Winters offers a very competitive compensation package that includes base salary, an uncapped commission structure and work-life balance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Highly motivated self-starter with a proven sales track record in Western Canada's instrumentation industry or similar fields, (Industrial / PVF) with a strong network.
• Daily operation aligned with Winters' Core Values, reflected in customer communications.
• Grow sales and maintain gross margin profitability in line with annual budgets.
• Set and monitor sales budgets for regional distributors.
• Identify and secure new customer opportunities (OEMs, EPCs, Fabricators, End Users), driving business through channel partners.
• Develop solid relationships with new/existing accounts, providing support as needed.
• Develop an annual sales plan with VP Canadian Division to achieve objectives.
• Build internal and external relationships to drive sales and maintain profitability.
• Conduct joint sales calls with key distributors to support their initiatives.
• Provide product knowledge/training when needed to support sales activities.
• Present quarterly sales reviews on progress towards objectives.
• Attend industry and distributor trade shows, events, and open houses as required.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc. or Engineering degree, Technical Diploma or Journeyman in Instrumentation.
• 5+ years of technical sales / management in a related industry and product experience.
• Excellent ability to connect with others and lead a sales team.
• Skilled in written and oral communications.
• Travel is required (50%).
