Are you a master communicator with a knack for strategizing and delivering effective communication plans? Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a variety of communication templates, and overseeing internal communications channels.

This is a 6-month contract role with one of Vancouver’s most admired companies.

Our client is a Vancouver company with global operations and an impeccable reputation. They are a people-centric organization, known for their collaborative team culture.

What- The Role:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategy
  • Create a verity of communication templates for the Facilities team
  • Oversee internal team communications channels
  • Facilitate on-going communication between departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and Facilities to gather information and relay as required
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications team to execute related communications with organization/department objectives and projects
  • Prepare reports (Excel), documents, and presentation decks as required
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in SharePoint
  • Identify and implement operational processes and propose improvements
  • Collaborate with teams to implement process enhancements and streamline workflows
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes
  • Other related duties that may be assigned as necessary
Who- the Candidate:
  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline and at least 3-4 years of relevant work experience in an operational environment
  • Experience implementing communications strategies
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write in a variety of styles for a range of audiences. Excellent editing and proofreading skills, with an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy
  • Organizational skills, multitasking abilities, drive and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of written and digital communication channels
  • Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision
  • Strong client facing and teamwork skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
How much:
$35-40/hr + 4% vacation pay

Where:
Vancouver, ONSITE initially and once in a good place, our client will discuss a hybrid option. Please note, there will be ravel between each Vancouver office with Uber used for Business purposes.
