Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager – Sourcing to take charge of procurement including supplier relationships and cost optimization for a company that produces a variety of food products.

As a key member of the leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier contracts, and ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials to support production. You'll collaborate with internal teams, oversee logistics, and drive efficiency in supply chain operations.

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supply chain efficiency
  • Create KPI's, systems and process to measure and monitor performance of the supply chain group.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts for key raw materials and production inputs
  • Forecast inventory needs and align procurement with production schedules
  • Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including freight and customs processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, driving continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
  • Experience working with international suppliers and import/export processes
  • Knowledge of procurement software and inventory management systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or an SCMP designation.
