Catalera BioSolutions is seeking a talented and organized Supply Chain Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our supplies, inventory, and shipments.

As a Supply Chain Manager at Catalera, you will be responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction by coordinating purchasing, order processing, scheduling, shipping, and product delivery to align with our customer commitments and scheduled production. You will optimize our production scheduling as well as our warehouse and inventory management.

Our ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented supply chain professional with strong experience managing 3PL, coordinating shipments, and optimizing inventory and production schedules. They collaborate well with teams and suppliers to ensure cost-effective operations and maintain strong supplier relationships.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supply Chain Management

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Coordinate the scheduling, fulfillment, and reporting of customer shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong, ongoing communication with our suppliers to build and nurture productive partnerships.
  • Manage Third-Party Logistics (3PL): Work with 3PL providers to ensure our orders are shipped correctly and on time, maintaining high service levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Inventory Teams: Partner with the AG sales team to monitor our demand plans and inventory levels, ensuring alignment with our business needs.
  • Optimize Production Scheduling: Recommend and propose adjustments to our production scheduling and planning processes to improve efficiency.
  • Procurement & Shipping Coordination: Create purchase orders and manage our inbound shipments of raw materials and packaging, ensuring timely delivery to meet production needs.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Management: Oversee inventory transfers between our warehouses, maintaining adequate stock levels while prioritizing cost-effective storage and transportation solutions.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Coordinate cycle counts with our 3PL providers and secureany necessary approvals for adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Obsolete Material Disposal: Coordinate and manage the disposal of our obsolete materials efficiently and in line with company policies.
  • Invoice Processing & Compliance: Process invoices related to transportation, warehousing, and customs duties, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Courier Management: Provide support for our inter-company courier shipments (FedEx, UPS), ensuring smooth delivery and communication.
  • Support Lab Teams: Assist our lab teams with the development and analysis of costing models, ensuringaccurate financial projections.

Project Teamwork

  • Collaborate regularly with teams tocoordinate our supply chain requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or in a relevant discipline and/or a Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience working in a similar industry.
  • Well-versed in supply chain management practices and principles.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and NetSuite.
  • Solid influential skills to drive consensus and tackle hard problems in innovative ways.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High level of critical thinking to develop actionable solutions.
