Job Description

CEDA is looking for an individual with a self-starter attitude and one who takes pride in their work Our Finance team in Fort McMurray has a great opportunity for a Project Administrator. If you are someone who loves organization and wants to expand on their analytical skills, apply now

Responsibilities
  • Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting functions for both internal and external clients; including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Administer setup and input data for assigned projects in both the financial reporting and field data capture systems.
  • Communicate with operational and accounting teams regarding project billing or cost discrepancies as they occur.
  • Compare reports from field data capture system and accounting systems to identify any inconsistencies, making corrections as required.
  • Run defined daily reports out of the financial reporting and field data capture systems to support team analytics.
  • Follow defined process to import data into MS Excel-based tools.
  • Coordinate project close-out analysis to ensure completion of work scope and billing ensuring there are no outstanding items.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a contract administration, project administration, or a project billing position.
  • Experience using financial/project accounting applications is an asset, bonus points for experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Salesforce Field FX.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, Formulas, Graphs etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience with a “daily field capture” system is considered an asset.
  • Experience understanding contracts related to construction projects is an asset.
