Reporting to Director Switchgear Programs, the Production Program Manager - Enterprise Sales is a customer facing role responsible for overseeing production aspects of the Switchgear program for low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) product lines produced in our manufacturing locations in Fremont, CA, Surrey, BC and Jacksonville, FL.

This is a diverse role and your ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential to understanding and supporting the complexities of this rapidly growing program.

As Production Program Manager , you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following for our key enterprise clients:

Manufacturing and finished goods inventory planning including:

  • Oversight and alignment of multiple feeder factory’s production schedules to contracted deliverables and customer forecast. Uses and develops internal reports to reconcile IEM planned production with customer demand and works with factory PMs to track schedules and update system where needed.
  • Strategizing to support expanding customer and forecast requirements to allow for business and program growth.
  • Develop, analyze and report on factory production metrics to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Partner with Q&R to drive results in factory initiatives.
  • Partner with Production to standardize projects
  • Oversee and empower factory Project Managers to identify factory risks and opportunities across multiple projects.
  • Risk management (identification, contingencies, mitigation) and drive resolution. Identify opportunities and execute milestones to realize the benefits for program improvement.
  • Provide strategic guidance to factory project managers in support of individual factory and program goals.
  • As main vendor POC, creates individual vendor forecast reports, coordinates with material managers of multiple feeder factories and tracks obstacles with internal and external supply chain stakeholders to minimize risk to deliverables.
  • In the event of supply constraints, oversees allocation of materials between factories to support production and deliverables to customer.
  • Develop close working relationship with customer stakeholders to support mutual business success.
  • Provides status information to internal and external stakeholders through weekly scheduled production meetings and/or providing written updates.
  • Ongoing daily communication with various departments within IEM regarding capacity, inventory, design intercepts and other requested changes impacting schedules.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of success in a similar, fast-paced manufacturing role is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge of high-volume industrial product manufacturing and post-delivery customer support.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal skills, excellent attention to detail with advanced proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong competency in project management methodologies with the ability to manage multiple work streams and balance competing priorities.
  • Flexible with a hands-on approach, serve as a committed team player with an eagerness to jump in and offer support wherever needs/opportunities arise.
  • Effective management, communication and people skills are required to influence and manage multiple resources under, and not under, direct authority. Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Must have excellent judgment, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex problems and see them through to resolution.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with extensive customer-facing experience.
  • Team oriented, with demonstrated ability to work with others to drive to targeted outcomes.
  • Must be able and willing to travel to Fremont, CA, Jacksonville, FLA and Surrey, BC occasionally
