Job Opening: Logistics Operations Coordinator

The Logistics Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the logistical operations of the company. Responsibilities include facilitating inventory fulfillment processes and managing the handling, dispatch, and receipt of samples across various departments.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Coordinate and monitor Logistics operations for sample, order, and inventory
  2. Maintain comprehensive daily records of all shipment information and documents on ERP system (Netsuite)
  3. Generating shipping labels and coordinating with couriers; utilize logistics tools including UPS/DHL/Canada Post etc.
  4. Coordinate with a sales team and project coordinator to arrange shipping for samples
  5. Preparing samples for outbound shipments and inspecting incoming sample shipments
  6. Maintaining in-office inventory
  7. Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
  • Working towards post-secondary degree/diploma in business administration, commerce, economics, logistics and transportation, supply chain management, or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • One (1) to three (3) years in a professional environment, logistics or supply chain experience considered an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite required
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated and highly accountable
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
Other Factors We May Consider
  • Excellent understanding of logistics and shipping concepts is an asset
  • Proficiency with UPS/DHL/FedEx software and websites is an asset
  • Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite) is an asset
