Location: North York

Job Type: Full-time, Office-based

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and providing effective shipping solutions tailored to clients' needs.

Efficient Shipping Operations:

  • Coordinate the shipping process for international ocean freight, ensuring smooth and efficient order fulfillment from rate quotation to cargo delivery.
  • Schedule delivery and pick-up appointments, monitor service commitments, and track orders using TMS.

Key Account Management:

  • Actively engage with clients to understand their evolving requirements and ensure satisfaction with our services.
  • Foster strong relationships with ocean carriers and vendors to facilitate seamless operations.

Issue Resolution and Communication:

  • Proactively address any issues or challenges encountered during the shipping process, collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, overseas agents, and service providers to ensure smooth operations and timely updates.

Administrative Duties:

  • Perform general clerical tasks including data entry, filing, and billing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the logistics/transportation industry, with knowledge of international ocean freight operations.
  • Strong customer service skills with proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to adapt to proprietary business software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and possession of a Supply Chain Global Logistics certificate are assets.
