Established in 1996 to build and strengthen the tourism sector in Nunavut, Travel Nunavut is an organization with an ambitious goal. The destination management function largely focused on leisure and vacation travel is led by the Government of Nunavut.

Our work involves activities to help establish and build the business success of our members, and advocacy activities to gain broader support and awareness of the travel industry and its importance to the lives, work and play of Nunavummiut.

We advocate, promote, and support our members. Our members are as diverse as the landscape of Nunavut. It includes traditional leisure focused members, cruise companies, airlines as well as food suppliers, taxi companies, conference planners and more 

As Executive Director of Travel Nunavut, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations, programs, and services. Working closely with staff and partners, you will implement effective management and organizational strategies to fulfill our mandate and objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in executing program promises and measuring outcomes to drive the continued growth and sustainability of the travel industry in Nunavut.

You will be the one leading the implementation of activities that will serve to grow and strengthen the travel industry in Nunavut.

You likely have a university degree in business administration, tourism management, international development, or some related field. You are ready to bring your management and administrative leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to Travel Nunavut and to make a difference.

An attractive compensation package ranging from $145,000 to $165,000 annually, which includes housing and Northern living allowances, relocation assistance, bonus and RRSP contribution program.
