We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer .
Our long established client is an established company manufacturing and distribution of Vacuum pumps for a variety of industry. These industries include nano-technology, green energy, life saving medicine and semiconductors. You will be a Sales Engineer with an Engineering background ready to represent our client Vacuum line in the province of BC. Engineering or Basic Science degree - Secondary degree in Marketing / Economics an added value)
~4 years of experience in technical sales ideally in a mechanical environment
~ Drivers License – G
~ Availability to travel 35% - Extended travel in the territory including overnight stays (initially 35% - 45%)
~ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
~ Prospect potential customers and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in BC territory, obtaining sales orders for company products/services.
Pre and post sales support
Establish a network in Canada by prospeting, sales calls and follow ups.
Recommend Engineered solutions to potential and existing customers based on application analysis and product base.
Answer technical questions by clients and build up customer loyalty by promoting after sales service including leak detection, and assure future parts/services will be ordered by the Corporation.
