We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic professional to join our team as a  CAPEX Project Manager for filling & packaging in  GTA, ON.

This Project Manager will lead our project team on a significant CapEx project for filling and packaging, driving strategies, stakeholder management, and risk reduction. Our technically competent resources will support your directions. You will drive success by removing roadblocks, managing stakeholder expectations & relationships, and guiding decisions for transformative impact. Successful delivery of this project will put you on a fast-track path to a leadership role in our organization.

This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and Accountable for project deliverables as per project schedule while adhering to all HSE practices and meeting the Quality and Compliance expectations for all deliverables & responsibilities.
  • Ensure the deliverables are in alignment and in compliance with all applicable Safe Work Practices (SWPs), Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and Good manufacturing Practices (GDPs). 
  • Track schedule and budget across deliverables.
  • Provide performance metrics and issue a monthly progress report.
  • Provide a periodic schedule, attend all coordination meetings and provide a summary of activities.
  • Maintain an UpToDate deliverables/activity tracking system and generate progress status reports for various stakeholders.
  • Anticipate, Identify and Escalate all C&Q related risks/roadblocks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Develop FFIP and C&Q strategy and execution Overview training.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering with 7+ years of project management experience (budget/resource management) in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and/or any GMP environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders and drive project to success.
  • Proven Leadership: Successfully managed cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, and internal team, demonstrating proactive leadership in achieving maintenance and reliability objectives.
  • Conflict Resolution Skills: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex quality requirements, effectively pushing back when necessary to ensure alignment with project goals, while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Decisive Decision-Making: Implemented decisive strategies in hiring and firing processes, ensuring top talent selection to optimize team performance and productivity.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilfully managed relationships with various stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and project milestones.
  • Continuous Improvement: Spearheaded initiatives to enhance maintenance and reliability processes, leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions to drive efficiency and reduce downtime, resulting in cost savings and improved operational performance.
