Technical Sales Manager The Venari

The Company
Established over 70 years ago and with a global turnover of in excess of £30 million, our client is a leading manufacturer and provider of innovative electronic controls, monitoring and communication solutions predominantly into the petro-chem, aviation fuels, oil and gas industries. They are seeking someone with a good technical understanding of electromechanical products within a sales environment and experience of selling into the above mentioned markets.
The RoleYou will be personally responsible for the sales growth within Canada which will be secured through new business success and on-going account management. You will be targeting a range of accounts including SME’s, OEM’s, major oil companies and end users. You will possess the ability to talk to customers, on a technical level at all levels.
The RequirementsThe successful applicant must, as a minimum, hold the following requirements for the last 5 years:
- Proven track record in sales of an electromechanical product
- Strong understanding of the petro-chem, aviation fuels, process industries, oil and gas markets.
- Must have direct sales experience specifically with end-users and OEM’s
- Based in Toronto Canada
- Must be fluent in English and French languages
In addition to the above the candidate will also possess some of the following:
- An electrical/electronic related degree
- Experience of electronic gauging and sensing systems
- Experience with transfer of Hazardous materials
- Experience in sales and contractual negotiations
- Excellent communication skills
- Extensive sales experience
- Engaging and outgoing personality, be a good team player and possess the desire and commitment to deliver superior results
