Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Director of Cartridge Fabrication to join our Semiconductor/Nanotechnology team to support the transition to production scale, and implementation of our production and development fabrication process, and assist in expanding the facility to meet our customers’ needs, in diverse market applications including industrial, medical, augmented reality, aerospace, wearable and Automotive sectors. The Director of Cartridge Fabrication is responsible for all activities relating to the fabrication and sourcing of microLEDs and Fabrication of cartridges at scale and quality to meet the company’s objectives. The Head of Cartridge Processing is responsible for the direct supervision of represented employees working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

YOUR Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Perform strategic capacity planning to assist in scaling the capacity of the existing facility
  • Develop a structured planning process that will assist VueReal in aligning short and long-term facility plans with business plans
  • Design and construct a high-throughput manufacturing facility that will meet the roadmaps set by VueReal
  • Establish processes to optimize and improve production in order to increase efficiency,
  • Prioritizing the process/production based on company production goals.
  • To fulfill the VueReal road map, develop, identify gaps, and create a scalable team structure.
  • Establish and implement a supplier development process, used to improve the quality and performance of VueReal’s supplier base, as well as to identify and assess potential new suppliers
  • Establishing KPI’s and monitoring the unit performance.
  • Develop and leverage the power KPIs to bridge the gap between strategy & execution.
  • Establish and maintain the budget for the Cartridge processing unit.
TOOLs/Skills you need for your role:
  • 10+ years experience in semiconductor process
  • Proven track record of developing a semiconductor production line
  • Experience in LED production
  • Expertise in transferring a process to partners for large-scale productions
  • Product ramp-up and yield monitoring experience
  • Experience in tool selection and installation for displays
  • Experience in handling microLED vendors, cartridge vendors
