The Care Company is looking for an awesome, self-driven Register Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to assist us with paediatric home care. Specifically, we are looking for someone to support a 6-month-old baby's transition home from the hospital.
Shifts

~ All nursing assignments with The Care Company require someone who can commit to a consistent, ongoing, weekly schedule where you would see the same client for the same shift, each week, every week.
~8-hour day and evening shifts, 7 days/week required, FT or PT hours available for this assignment


Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs (hygiene assistance, bathing, and medications administration) that is within the scope of practice for a Register Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Provide exceptional patient care as outlined in their care plans, supporting patients with all applicable medical needs
Observe the patients' medical health as well as their physical and mental responses
Tracheostomy care (suctioning, dressing maintenance, and trach changes) **Required**
Bi-pap or C-pap
Seizure monitoring

An asset if you own a vehicle and have a valid driver's licence (not required)
Negative TB Test completed within the last year
CNO Registration and nursing certificate/diploma
COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
Valid CPR/First Aid/BLS certification
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.
