SENIOR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
This is an excellent and unique opportunity for a Contract Administrator in the to join a reputable and growing firm in Toronto,ON.
Our client has developed an excellent reputation throughout Canada and the US in the design and development of large-scale projects that shape and transform environments in both the public and private sectors. With a strong leadership team, innovative and unique design techniques and a strong portfolio of projects that have set them apart from other firms. With 40+ years in the industry and a multi-disciplinary team they have developed and expanded their brand and have grown to become one of the most recognized firms in the industry. They are developing and expanding and have strategic plans to continue to grow into new markets both locally and internationally.
The Contract Administrator will prepare and issue all contract documents, and coordinate, collect, assemble, and review all contract change documents from the multi-disciplinary project team. This individual will chair start up meetings and regular construction meetings between contractors and owners and conduct on-site field reviews while acting as company representative on the construction site. With your ability to monitor and review contract progress, you will manage all contract communication and respond to requests for information while solving problems as they rise.
With strong experience and background in the industry, this individual will review as-built drawings and O&M manuals, provide feedback on any design related changes or issues, and work closely with design, specifications, and quality management team. This role will have opportunity to grow and move forward in the company to more senior positions.
5 - 10 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator
~ Experience working with technical programs such as REVIT and AutoCAD
~ Proficient in project field reporting, field reviews, payment certification, site document processing (CCN/RFI/SI) and contract change procedures
~ Strong building science background with an excellent understanding of construction process, methods, and materials
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of maintaining high quality standards while working within tight deadlines
~ An in-depth knowledge of building codes and construction procedures
~ Detailed approach to Interior Design with an entrepreneurial mindset in developing a team and leading projects forward through to completion
~ High energy, innovative thinking and a dynamic approach to design and planning
