Hays Human Resources division in Ontario, are partnered with our client, a leader in the Construction industry as they grow their team, hiring a Human Resources Business Partner, to be based at head office in Vaughan.
Due to continued growth, and progression planning, the company is excited to expand their Human Resources team, hiring a Human Resources Business Partner.

As the Human Resources Business Partner, reporting into the Human Resources Manager, you will own all things HR for your assigned client group. Your day to day will consist of the following: to partner closely with business leaders to build and maintain a thorough understanding of the business and leverage these insights to develop, shape and implement HR solutions; to provide advice and support on a wide range of HR issues to employees and leaders, in line with the company’s HR practices and culture; to provide related support in the areas of organizational change, and business operations related to HR; to maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders in Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations; to deliver support to the compensation planning and salary administration programs; In your role, you will commit to remaining current with best practices, legislative changes, and industry standards, and be passionate about getting ingrained in the business and operating as a true strategic business partner.

To succeed as the Human Resources Business Partner, you will bring 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, and will be experience in a BP capacity. You will bring post-secondary education in Human Resources, in the form of a BA HR, CHRP/ CHRL and/ or HRM Certification. You will have experience in the truest sense of being a Generalist, and have experience in all core areas of HR. You will be a people person, who is an effective and strong communicator and be passionate about Human Resources. You will be forward thinking and progressive with your ability to implement and use cloud based HRIS systems, experience with UltiPro is considered an asset.
