Position Summary

The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient management of client accounts. You will be the primary point of contact for the Retail Division Recruiters and Administrative Team, you will collaborate daily with them to get updates on the number of Temporary Foreign Workers (TFW) that require support in documentation gathering and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the leader for the Retail Recruitment team, ensuring that targets are met.
  • Collect and manage data for accounts in the Account Manager's portfolio.
  • Assist with pre-preparation, scheduling, and post-presentation follow-up for presentations by the Account Manager and/or CEO.
  • Support Account Management by performing tasks related to communication with external clients (employers)
  • Act as a point of contact for Temporary Foreign Workers
  • Create, maintain, and distribute tracking sheets for Employers as requested.
  • Respond to Employer's queries as directed by the Account Manager
  • Assist with presenting candidates to potential employers as directed by the Account Manager
  • Help with the preparation of presentations, reports, and correspondence for the Division.
  • Assist the Account Manager with efforts to attract new and retain existing clients, including making cold calls, scheduling appointments for presentations, and doing the necessary follow-up as requested.
  • Perform general office duties as assigned.
  • Manage files and disseminate relevant information, including but not limited to updating Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) tracking sheets, positive LMIAs, and Job Orders (JO) from the Division
  • Notify the Immigration Department to initiate Temporary Resident Visa submission for the Temporary Foreign workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative support position
  • A diploma in business administration or related filed.
  • A seasoned professional with a "get it done" approach, adding value with experience, intelligence, and professionalism.
  • Advanced English writing skills, attention to detail, adherence to high standards and quality work, and the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, relevant minutes and correspondence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: an assertive, clear communicator who is logical, straightforward, warm, and approachable.
  • A demonstrated self-starter who can work independently with little supervision to ensure work is completed as required.
  • A proactive problem solver with good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner. Able to prioritize and work on multiple tasks and projects at once in a fast-paced work environment with many interruptions.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate use of Microsoft 365 Suite (Teams, OneDrive, and Office)
