The Role

We are seeking a Territory Manager that embraces relentless, prospecting, in-person client meetings, cold calls, and persistent follow-up. This role requires a combination of primarily traditional in-person selling in BC and AB with some telephone and virtual sales into the Western USA. We need a triple threat - good in person, good on video, and good on the phone.

This is a Sales Hunter position focused on acquiring new clients and new business. You will be the primary ‘face of the company’ to the market in this critical role.

Although not required, experience with selling into the heavy duty trucking industry is an asset.

This is an individual contributor role. It is NOT a sales manager, account manager, inside sales or marketing position so if you do not enjoy doing direct sales, prospecting, building new relationships, or acquiring new customers, or spending time in the field meeting with prospects and clients, this is not the right position for you.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

  • Traveling up to 50% within your sales territory to sell new business, primarily in BC and Alberta.
  • Conducting phone calls, video calls, and face-to-face meetings to build new relationships and new business.
  • Tracking and reporting weekly on sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress using CRM software.
  • Educating customers on the benefits of our products and services.
  • Managing the sales process from initial contact to order completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitors to better understand customer needs.
