The Opportunity:
ML6 Search & Talent Advisory has partnered with a well-established, high-tech custom fabrication company based in Ontario. As the team continues to grow, we are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to hunt for new business across North America. Are you passionate about driving growth and supporting your client's evolving needs? Are you experienced in selling custom metal fabrication solutions? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities for custom metal fabrication across North America
- Hunt for net new business opportunities in alignment with the company's capabilities and targeted account acquisition plans
- Act as the first point of contact and manage customer relationships, coordinating with internal teams
- Collaborate with engineering and estimating teams to efficiently quote projects, communicate customer feedback, and facilitate quote review processes
- Ensure customers are aware of the company's new services and capabilities to continuously develop business
- Attend trade shows, group conferences, and travel across North America for client visits
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales and business development experience focused on industrial steel fabrication, structural steel sales, or related industries
- Strong communication skills, verbal and non-verbal. Able to represent the organization at trade shows and with customers across North America
- Proven track record of success with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- Preference to candidates with technical experience and the ability to interpret blueprint and CAD drawings
