About the Role We're hiring a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our MSP team. This is a remote-first role in Canada. You'll be the front line of elite support — resolving tickets, managing infrastructure, and getting things done. You'll also contribute to client projects like system migrations, security rollouts, and network upgrades. This role is for someone who takes pride in clearing tickets, keeping environments tight, and owning problems until they're resolved. Responsibilities Core IT Support & MSP Duties Troubleshoot issues in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows, macOS, and Linux Manage backups (Veeam), EDR/MDR tools (Defender, Sophos), and RMM platforms Handle onboarding/offboarding, MFA setup, permissions, patching, and scripting Support network infrastructure: firewalls, VPNs, switches, Wi-Fi Own your queue: resolve tickets efficiently and keep documentation clear and up to date Specialized Projects Perform Microsoft 365 migrations (mailboxes, SharePoint, OneDrive) Assist with server upgrades, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), and Azure deployments Deploy security tools and assist with hardening initiatives Handle procurement and rollout of workstations, firewalls, switches, and more Standardize client environments and help push infrastructure to best practices Qualifications 2+ years in IT support, system administration, or MSP roles Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server/Desktop, and core networking Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, RMM tools, and backup solutions Strong sense of ownership — you follow through and take pride in solving problems Excellent client-facing communication (verbal and written) Nice to Have: Experience with Sophos Central, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Hyper-V, VMware, or Google Workspace **Bonus Points** Have a home lab?
