As the Technical Support Specialist, you willensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Reporting to the IT Senior Project Manager, you will:

- Assist with performing PC, hardware, software and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs including imaging systems.
- Record, track, and document the request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions taken, through to final resolution.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain current knowledge of plan executables, and respond to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

**Job Requirements**:

- College diploma or technical school completion in the field of computer science and 2-year equivalent work experience.
- Bilingual (French and English) is required.
- Certifications in CompTIA A+ or Microsoft tracks preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including functionality and interworking of components.
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7, 8 and 10, Server 2016 and basic Active Directory Management.
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities, including native Windows tools, ping, nslookup, msconfig, event logs and system restore.
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building and presenting ideas in user-friendly language.
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Other Requirements**:

- Remote role with occasional travel to local branches.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
