Tasks:
  1. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  2. Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements
  3. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  4. Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  5. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  6. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  7. Oversee development of communication strategies
  8. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  9. Hire, train and supervise staff
  10. Oversee payroll administration
  11. Provide customer service
  12. Recruit and hire staff
  13. Conduct performance reviews
  14. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury

Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)

Computer and technology knowledge:

MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Database software, Electronic mail, Accounting software
