What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Respond to HR-related questions in a timely manner and conduct research when necessary.
  2. Collaborate with subject matter experts on escalated issues.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert in managing employee life cycle process administration.
  4. Create and maintain HR employee files and sort/filing various department records and documents.
  5. Conduct new employee orientation and administer the onboarding process for a positive employee experience.
  6. Lead select engagement initiatives such as annual employee recognition programs.
  7. Ensure all Human Resources documentation for staff is prepared and processed in a timely manner.
  8. Provide administration support for various HR processes including performance management and grievance procedure.
  9. Manage general department administration support including ordering supplies and scheduling meetings.
  10. Create regular reports and presentations on HR data.
What We're Looking For:
  • Undergraduate degree with post-graduate diploma or courses in HR.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative/coordinator role.
  • Excellent computer skills particularly Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Drive and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with creating, documenting, and implementing business processes.
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation.
