The Role

The Mental Health Account Executive will be responsible for growing Unyte's Enterprise business segment and driving the adoption of Unyte's tools within residential treatment centers, large clinics, family services organizations and health systems. As an experienced sales professional, you bring a proven track record of building deep client relationships, negotiating, closing deals, and maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Your curiosity and experience would have given you insight into how healthcare organizations function and the challenges clinical decision-makers face.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Mental Health Account Executive is a key part of a dedicated and mindful team of professionals focused on the Enterprise segment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline from lead to sales conversion, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
  • Influence prospects through clinical evidence and data on how Unyte's solutions can benefit them, driving clinical outcomes and business growth.
  • Manage all stages of the Enterprise sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Cultivate and nurture new relationships with clinical leaders and decision-makers, including senior executives of prospect organizations.
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover the unique needs and pain points of each prospect.
  • Leverage team members and clinical resources to help you throughout the sales process.
  • Use in-depth industry knowledge and collaborate with the Strategy team to develop proposals that are aligned with the clients and Unyte's mission and goals, and that will drive both impact and revenue growth.
  • Leverage customer feedback and market insights to continuously refine Unyte's Enterprise offerings, ensuring alignment with both client needs and company growth objectives.

Target Skills:

  • Sales Expertise & Negotiation : The Mental Health Account Executive should have a strong track record of closing deals and consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas. They must proactively pursue new business opportunities and use effective negotiation skills.
  • Product & Market Knowledge : Understand the features and functions of Unyte's offerings, and apply this knowledge in the context of user experience, business, and the broader industry. The Mental Health Account Executive should be driven to continuously improve their knowledge, staying ahead of trends in the trauma and mental health landscape to effectively demonstrate value and tailor solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will need to deliver persuasive, tailored presentations to clinical decision-makers, manage expectations, and leverage a Challenger Sales mindset to steer conversations toward successful outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving, Proactivity & Adaptability : A successful Account Executive should have a proactive approach to identifying customer challenges and proposing tailored solutions. They must also be adaptable to changes in the market, client needs, or sales strategy, and driven to consistently improve processes.
  • Relationship Building : Quickly establish trust and rapport with prospects by tailoring your approach to different personalities and communication styles, ensuring long-lasting relationships.

Measures of Success:

  • Revenue & Sales Quota Achievement: Achievement of individual sales quotas (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Pipeline Development & Conversion Rates: Growth of a healthy sales pipeline and the conversion of leads into closed deals.
  • Sales Cycle Optimization: Drive efficiency by shortening the sales cycle and effectively moving prospects through the funnel, ensuring timely deal closures.
  • Collaboration & Team Contribution: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive overall business success.

Requirements & attributes that will ensure your success in this role

  • Educational Background in Counselling, Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of sales experience in healthcare solutions selling to clinics and treatment centers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of treatment modalities, offerings and processes in a mental health clinic.
  • Clinical background and/or experience, or education in a clinical field, is considered a strong asset – particularly in mental health.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong team-player ethos.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of influencing C-class executives and key decision-makers.
  • Experience being part of building an Enterprise sales function from an early stage is a strong asset.
  • Strong interest in mental health, neuroscience, and innovative health solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Experience using Google Docs, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and Slack.
  • Passionate about helping people reach their full potential while driving the business forward.
