Inside Sales Representative

This position will report to the Vice President of Sales – Waterworks & Inside Sales Manager. The inside Sales Representative’s role is to manage and service key accounts within our organization. The ideal candidate will also provide technical information to customers and cultivate strong relationships with them.
We are seeking a dynamic candidate, with entrepreneurial professional sales experience with a proven track record. A background in Mechanical technology and experience in the waterworks industry would be a definite asset. Possessing superior communication and diplomacy skills, this individual will be results-driven, decisive, and have the desire to succeed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Understand the needs and expectations of the Customers and provide relevant solutions.
- Responsible for receiving and processing orders from customers.
- Receive orders from customers by phone, fax, or email. Review the order to ensure that the information is complete, and can be processed.
- Responsible for processing customer complaints.
- Responsible for preparing quotations for key accounts, Municipal tenders & large industrial projects.
- Responsible for resolving customer inquiries
- Assemble technical product information and communicate with McWane’s Customer base.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- College Diploma from a post-secondary Institution
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of confidence
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information with clarity and accuracy.
- Results-driven Inside Sales experience in a technical environment.
- Proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Office
- Able to use virtual platforms (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Microsoft AX Dynamics experience is a definite asset.
- Production experience in a sales/ manufacturing role.
- Marketing and Customer Service skills.
- Excellent organization skills and detailed orientation.
