Who we’re looking for

Katana is growing its Channel Partnership Team and we're in search of an experienced Partner Manager to come on board.

Your typical work week would include

The Partner Manager's primary responsibility is to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with our Elite partners to drive mutual business growth and achieve company objectives. You will serve as the main point of contact for partners, working closely with cross-functional teams internally to ensure successful collaboration. Your role requires strong relationship-building skills, detailed knowledge of Katana, and a deep understanding of the partner's business objectives.

  • Identify potential partner organizations and evaluate their alignment with the company's goals and values.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, including terms, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Understand partner needs, goals, and pain points to develop tailored strategies and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations and escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, etc.) to align partner initiatives with the overall business strategy.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress, address challenges, and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics related to the partner ecosystem.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas, competitive advantages, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to leverage partner networks, expand market reach, and drive revenue growth.
You're the perfect fit if you
  • 2+ years of experience as a Key Account Manager or Partner Manager
  • Katana’s values and your personal values are like match made in heaven
  • Background in Manufacturing and Inventory Management is preferred
  • Familiarity with industry leading business tools used in E-Commerce, Accounting, Inventory Management, Order Management, Shipping and Fulfilment is a plus
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with popular tools like Intercom, HubSpot, Recurly, Confluence & Slack is nice but not necessary
