We are seeking a highly detailed and organized Project Administrator for our Engineering client. The Project Administrator is responsible for gathering all project documentation, updating on progress, upcoming requirements, and generally keeping everyone working on a project organized. The unique part about this role is that the Project Administrator is involved in a project from start to finish and involved in everything.
For more than two decades now, our client in the consulting engineering industry has provided high-quality services to its customers. This administration role is open due to growth. The Project Administrator is responsible for gathering all project documentation, updating on progress, upcoming requirements, and generally keeping everyone working on a project organized. The unique part about this role is that the Project Administrator is involved in a project from start to finish and involved in everything. This role is fully in office, projects can last multiple years, and you’ll join a team of 4 Project Administrator who are part of an incredible administration department.
Supports PM’s in planning, coordination, collection and distribution of project documentation.
Assists the internal project team and project managers.
Keeps track of project schedules and updates through the life cycle of projects.
Maintains and updates project files.
Project filing, updating documents, document control, archiving and management.
Reviews and distributes project documentations.
Creates and manages project directories.
Supports coordinators and project managers with general administration as required.
Post secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
3+ years of administration experience, 1+ year of experience in construction or engineering is an asset.
Experience working with a variety of professional services – engineering, developers, GC’s or word frame/concrete high-rise experience is all relevant and an asset.
Experience working in a project-based organization.
Must be detail oriented and produce high quality documentation, accuracy and attention to detail are required.
Willingness to contribute to team projects.
Intermediate – advanced computer skills are required.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and be flexible to changing priorities.
