Office Manager

North of 60 Accounting Services is seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and support our team in Yellowknife. This pivotal role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment and enhancing overall efficiency.
Responsibilities :
• Manage day-to-day office operations, including reception duties, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and office supplies inventory to maintain a well-organized workspace.
• Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with department heads to streamline workflows and optimize office processes for improved efficiency.
• Handle HR-related tasks such as employee onboarding, payroll administration, and maintaining personnel records.
• Manage office budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial policies.
• Coordinate office events and activities, fostering a positive and engaging work culture for employees.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, clients, and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
Qualifications :
• Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in office management or administrative leadership role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and office management software.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HR practices and principles is an asset.
