Office Administrator

North Creative is looking for a reliable person to fill the position of Office Administrator. This is a part-time position, based in Yellowknife, NWT. (Hourly rate ranges from $21 p/hr to $24 p/hr depending on experience).
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of front-of-house day-to-day operations in the North Creative office and for providing timely and accurate administrative support to the staff.
The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
The candidate will also assist with some internal marketing projects and be responsible for their completion in a timely manner (eg. posting on social media, setting up for networking events etc).
Responsibilities:
- Phone monitoring and taking invoice payments
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Oversee social media posting (internal comms)
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment, with light house-keeping such board room organization
- Handle print collateral pick-ups from local vendors
- Welcome incoming clients before meetings and occasionally light note-taking during meetings
Experience:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette
