Position: Parts & Service Coordinator - Guelph

Location: Guelph, Ontario

Reports into: Director of Operations and/or their designate

* This is not a remote position - You are required to be on-site every day.

Over the past 33 years, Reefer Sales has become the leading provider of temperature-managed transportation hardware, equipment, service and support across North America. We are currently looking for a Parts & Service Coordinator to grow in our Guelph Service shop.

Job Summary:

Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm.

  • Handle inbound phone traffic for service department.
  • Work with a positive and professional attitude and communicate effectively and efficiently with customers.
  • Coordinate and direct service technicians.
  • Prepare work orders (opening, updating, and closing).
  • Assist shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and ensuring merchandise received matches delivery documentation.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Ensure accurate and real-time statuses on all work being performed in the shop at any given time.
  • Follow-up on jobs internally; coordinating with Parts Department to ensure efficient turnaround times or with Sales regarding scheduling.
  • Parts deliveries as required.
  • Create quotations for service, as required.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Extremely detailed and well-organized individual.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt in high pressure situations.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills, with intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Must have had a minimum of 3+ years in a coordination role, preferably in the service and repair industry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Important: This position may require some overtime work during busy periods.
