To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.
Research - As Research Associates they will work closely with Research Analyst covering various (e.g. Power & Utilities, Industrials, etc.) sectors, which involves industry and company analysis. The Associates will learn and develop a depth of knowledge about financial analysis, covered industries and capital markets. In the role, they will build financial models and forecasts as well as harness a variety data sets to support investment recommendations and valuation analysis. They will gain valuable experience in writing detailed research reports and presentations to provide actionable insights to support investment decision-making for internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, will have a strong attention to detail, and will be very excel-proficient and financial-statement-literate.
Client Focus - In cooperation with the Research Analysts they will participate in regular calls with public companies to get direct data from the senior management teams, as well as ad hoc calls, meetings and industry events. Please include a writing sample along with your cover letter, resume and transcripts (if a recent graduate). Preference is given to candidates who possess an MBA , CFA, and an undergraduate degree in Finance or business-related discipline. Candidates who possess data analysis/compilation and programming skills would be an asset.
Experience conducting financial analysis of companies and economics. Work experience or background in a variety of industries (e.g. Energy, Industrials etc.) is an asset. Excellent knowledge of PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote). Experience in Python is an asset.
Ability to explain detailed financial and statistical analysis.
