Our client is a growing Canadian software company that specializes in custom solutions designed to help businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency, and accelerate growth. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Calgary, this company is expanding its reach and looking for its first Account Executive to play a key role in driving sales and shaping the company's growth.
This is more than an Account Executive role—it's an opportunity to be an integral part of a scaling tech company, helping to establish the sales function while developing long-term client relationships.
New Business Development – Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored custom software solutions.
Sales Strategy & Process Development – Help define best practices, refine sales processes, and contribute to building a high-performing sales function.
Client Relationship Management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships.
Consultative Selling – Use a solution-based sales approach to understand client needs and propose tailored software solutions.
Market Expansion – Identify new opportunities and strategically grow the company's presence across Canada.
Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with development and consulting teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Experience – Proven success in an Account Executive or Business Development role, ideally within consulting services, SaaS, or custom software solutions.
Entrepreneurial Mindset – Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-moving startup environment.
C-Suite Engagement – Confident in engaging senior executives and decision-makers.
Business Acumen – Strong understanding of business operations and ability to align solutions with client objectives.
Sales Approach – Expertise in solution selling and value-based sales methodologies.
