As a Law Clerk, Commercial Real Estate, you will be a key member of a dynamic and innovative group of lawyers, clerks and legal support staff and will provide the highest level of service to clients. You will have the opportunity to cultivate your skills as part of a successful national Commercial Real Estate team, within Canada’s premier full-service law firm.

Conduct, review and report on title and off-title searches and other real estate related due diligence;
Assist lawyers with commercial transactions, including drafting requisitions and documentation
Review surveys/reference plans;
Assist in closing, purchase sale and financing transactions;
Apply for and negotiate title insurance policies;
Conduct a preliminary analysis of title defects or clouds on title;
Work with the land registry office to address unique title issues;
Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk
electronic database filings.
Community College Law Clerk Diploma or Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate (or equivalent)
Strong computer and electronic document skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Bilingual (French) reading and writing abilities an asset
