You will play an integral role in staffing of production roles while supporting the HR Manager with day to day HR operational tasks. If you are seeking a new challenge, then this is the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a well recognized companyResponsibilities:Full cycle recruitment for production staff: Sourcing and collaborating with managers to onboard new employeesManage shortlisted applicants necessary & Coordination of interviews for internal managersComplete background checks on selected employeesPresent offer to candidates and collect all onboarding paperworkAssure completion of WSIB training and H&S for all new employeesEmployee Relations for production employees including managementAssure compliance for policies and proceduresHealth & Safety initiatives to assure complianceWorking within HR legislation to assure compliance throughout all departmentsCoordination of new hire trainingPrepare recognition communicationsEnsure up to date employee filesEngage with new HR programsSpeaking to all bilingual employees at production level across Canada (This will include travel to various locations across Canada – less than 15%)Required Skills:Bilingual French/English to speak with French employees3-5 Years HR Generalist Experience, with experience hiring production staff membersUniversity or College Education, preferably within an HR focused courseStrong understanding of Ontario employment laws and best practicesAbility to multi-task and work closely with management when requiredStrong communication skills to roll out new processes when requiredAbility to manage projects and timelinesCHRP/CHRL designationThis is a hybrid role working 3 days remote.
