We’re currently looking for an Operations Advisor to join our dynamic Resource Development team. Reporting to the Lead, Resource Development Analytics, the Operations Advisor support the Lead and the broader team through effective data management, process documentation, and general operational support. This role helps to build internal capacity, allowing fund development staff to execute more robust and effective revenue generation strategies.If you are passionate about your community, aspire to make an impact, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to make a difference, then we’re looking for youWhat you will doProvide campaign operations support for Resource Development (RD)Build, document, and monitor campaign operations processes, including identifying gaps and refining processes or escalating as required on an ongoing basisCommunicate and coordinate campaign operations processes with internal stakeholders on an ongoing basisSupport RD as situations arise and support in finding viable solutions Manage the annual outstanding cash and cheque processPrimary support for the Manager of Business Development providing data pulls and analysis to aid in strategic decisions, and prospect research providing fulsome views of companies and their top level relationships.Provide consistent communication with CRM project team while advocating for RD needsSupport with national campaign reports and coordinationSupport with new employee onboarding, including Campaign AssociatesProvide timely data entry and information to the VP - Philanthropy & Operations Completion and submission of Donation Submission Forms Effective Data ManagementAccount tag managementProfile alert note and processing note supportMonitoring and updating account life events.Volunteer managementIntermediate report pullingDashboard monitoringIdentifying errors in dataFinding efficiency in account structuringManaging account status’Support annual data clean up and maintenanceAdditional maintenance as the CRM functionality increases Comprehensive Process DocumentationContinuously building and updating Salesforce guides Provide additional training where necessary when rolling out documentationWork closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the processes meet their needsIdentifying gaps and areas where new documentation or processes are requiredContinuously building and updating general operational process documentsWhat you will bring Experience:2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environmentA post-secondary educationAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMSExperience with Salesforce considered an assetExperience with SharePoint considered an assetExperience managing a large database considered an asset Attributes:Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail, ability to work with numbers and proven track record of accuracyProven ability as an independent, self-starter, who can initiate and recommend solutions and improvements to processesAn inquisitive nature with willingness and ability to learn quicklyDemonstrated leadership, training, and facilitation skillsStrong organizational skillsUnited, we make the biggest differenceUnited Way is a not-for-profit organization that has played a vital role in our community for over 80 years.
