We're currently looking for an Operations Advisor to join our dynamic Resource Development team.

Reporting to the Lead, Resource Development Analytics, the Operations Advisor support the Lead and the broader team through effective data management, process documentation, and general operational support. This role helps to build internal capacity, allowing fund development staff to execute more robust and effective revenue generation strategies.

What you will do

Provide campaign operations support for Resource Development (RD)

  • Build, document, and monitor campaign operations processes, including identifying gaps and refining processes or escalating as required on an ongoing basis
  • Communicate and coordinate campaign operations processes with internal stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Support RD as situations arise and support in finding viable solutions
  • Manage the annual outstanding cash and cheque process
  • Primary support for the Manager of Business Development providing data pulls and analysis to aid in strategic decisions, and prospect research providing fulsome views of companies and their top level relationships.
  • Provide consistent communication with CRM project team while advocating for RD needs
  • Support with national campaign reports and coordination
  • Support with new employee onboarding, including Campaign Associates
  • Provide timely data entry and information to the VP - Philanthropy & Operations
  • Completion and submission of Donation Submission Forms

Effective Data Management

  • Account tag management
  • Profile alert note and processing note support
  • Monitoring and updating account life events.
  • Volunteer management
  • Intermediate report pulling
  • Dashboard monitoring
  • Identifying errors in data
  • Finding efficiency in account structuring
  • Managing account status'
  • Support annual data clean up and maintenance
  • Additional maintenance as the CRM functionality increases

Comprehensive Process Documentation

  • Continuously building and updating Salesforce guides
  • Provide additional training where necessary when rolling out documentation
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the processes meet their needs
  • Identifying gaps and areas where new documentation or processes are required
  • Continuously building and updating general operational process documents

What you will bring

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A post-secondary education
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and TEAMS
  • Experience with Salesforce considered an asset
  • Experience with SharePoint considered an asset
  • Experience managing a large database considered an asset
