Position Summary:

We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting CanPrev's talent acquisition efforts by coordinating and managing the recruitment processes that enable us to attract and hire top talent. The Recruitment Coordinator will report to the HR Advisor and work closely with the hiring managers.


Key Responsibilities:

Job Posting & Sourcing:

  • Draft, edit, and post job advertisements across multiple platforms, including job boards, and the CanPrev website.
  • Actively source candidates through various channels, such as LinkedIn, Indeed and industry-specific forums, to build a diverse talent pipeline.

Interview Coordination & Scheduling:

  • Arrange interviews and manage schedules for candidates and interviewers, ensuring a smooth, organized interview experience.
  • Coordinate pre-interview preparations with hiring managers, as required, ensuring they have the necessary materials and guidance.

Candidate Experience & Communication:

  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates, feedback, and a positive overall experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with potential hires and maintain strong communication throughout the hiring journey.

Recruitment Support & Administration:

  • Assist in the implementation of recruitment strategies that align with CanPrev’s goals and culture.
  • Prepare and manage recruitment-related documentation, including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.

Employer Branding:

  • Support employer branding initiatives by promoting CanPrev's unique culture, values, and mission in communications with potential hires.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance CanPrev’s visibility and attractiveness to prospective employees in the health and wellness industry.

Other HR Projects:

  • Provide administrative support in various HR initiatives, including new hire onboarding, career fairs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on ad hoc projects that support CanPrev’s people and culture strategy.
  • Help support the HR team on other administrative tasks as required. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CHRP designation preferred, or working towards it.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment coordination or HR, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ATS software is an asset.
