The Job
You will be actively involved in troubleshooting technical issues and providing support to end users and the IT team to resolve them efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Responding to requests for technical assistance via various channels, including in-person, phone, chat, or email
- Planning, prioritizing, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Providing one-on-one support to employees for hardware/software-related questions and problems
- Deploying and configuring desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Assisting with managing user accounts, access control, and phone system administration
- Setting up VPN clients and providing remote computer support as needed
- Installing and troubleshooting software applications
- Ensuring the complete resolution of issues and following up with users
- Staying updated on system information, changes, and updates
- Assisting with updating training manuals for software and hardware
- Providing setup and support for audio/video conferencing and webinars
What you bring to the job
You are someone with excellent working knowledge of end-user hardware, software, and equipment. You stay calm when under pressure and come with the following qualifications and skills:
- 2+ years of experience in a user-facing Help Desk role
- Experience with Windows, Azure, Office 365, Hyper-V, and network protocols
- Strong troubleshooting and help desk support skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
