About HopSpot:

HopSpot is a dynamic app designed to track the status of bar lines and show how busy local bars are. It offers features such as the distance to bars from your exact location, custom user profiles, and detailed profiles with photos for each bar. HopSpot enhances nightlife by helping users make informed decisions about where to go. We’re looking for motivated and creative students to represent our brand, share our vision, and bring more students onto the platform.


About the Role:

As a Campus Brand Ambassador, you'll be the face of HopSpot at Wilfrid Laurier University or The University of Waterloo, actively promoting the app and helping us engage with the student body. This is a dynamic and creative position that includes:

  • Distributing branded merchandise at campus events and parties to create excitement around the HopSpot app.
  • Increasing brand visibility and awareness by creating a strong presence in student nightlife circles and on campus.
  • Creating engaging promotional content for social media, especially on TikTok, to highlight the app’s features and encourage students to download and use it.
  • Collaborating with the HopSpot team and app users to gather feedback, share insights, and improve promotional strategies.
  • Referring students to the app by sharing download links and promoting app usage with exclusive incentives.

This role will give you the chance to work closely with an innovative tech startup, gain hands-on marketing experience, and make a real impact on campus.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a student at Wilfrid Laurier University or The University of Waterloo
  • Familiar with TikTok and other social media platforms, with experience creating engaging content.
  • Charismatic, energetic, and outgoing, passionate about student nightlife and connecting with people.
  • Highly approachable and social, able to relate to various individuals in different social settings.
  • Creative mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and initiative, with the ability to work independently.
