Overview


We have an exciting opportunity available out of Edmonton, AB for a candidate who has a proven record in leadership within sales/operations. The successful candidate will be experienced in the equipment/machinery rental or dealership sector. The hired person will be a strong leader with a background in sales/operations working with customers in the construction, oil and gas, and other related industrial service markets.


Duties include


-Leading a team with an emphasis on company vision and workplace safety standard

-Identify and execute the promotion of company value proposition, identity, and image to staff and customers

-Be involved in selling and business development

-Hire and performance management of sales, admin, and operations team members

-Training and leading other managers in other locations

-Being the face and contact for key customers and their leaders

-Operations management/inventory control

-P&L responsibilities

-Evaluation of pricing/costs

-Recognizing and properly delivering on operational/inventory opportunities

Requirements


-Proven record in sales/operations

-Leadership experience from equipment/machinery rental/dealership or related sector (5-10 years minimum)

-Hands on person, willing to interact with team and with customers

-Superior interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written English)

-Ability to properly manage financials, P&L, high level sales/marketing, operations, and HR matters

-Ability to hire the right people and correctly lead and develop a team

-Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada

-Ability to travel regionally up to 10%.
