We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. This role involves handling inbound inquiries, generating leads, and driving sales to support our growth in the Canadian and American markets.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation and Cold Calling:

  • Proactively identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Qualify leads to determine potential customer interest and suitability.
  • Schedule and conduct virtual meetings with prospective clients to present our products and services.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Respond to inbound calls and inquiries from existing and potential customers.
  • Provide detailed product information and address customer questions and concerns.
  • Process orders, handle customer complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Market Research and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine sales strategies and improve customer outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inside sales, in the food, produce, or food services industry.
  • Strong cold calling and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls and inquiries.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian and USA food and produce markets is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
