Your New Role
As the Property Manager, you will oversee the efficient operations of a brand-new flagship property in downtown Montreal. Your responsibilities will include ensuring a positive experience for all residents, promptly addressing tenant requests and inquiries, and maintaining common and vacant spaces to ensure they are always marketable and leasable. You will lead a team of maintenance and concierge professionals, collaborate with leadership on ongoing projects, events, and property improvements, and uphold a high level of customer service to ensure a premium living experience.
- Address tenant concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Perform regular property and unit inspections, addressing deficiencies promptly
- Organize move-in/out inspections
- Negotiate and manage service contracts
- Ensure all building rules and regulations are respected.
- Oversee maintenance activities such as elevators, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, electrical, fire protection systems, pool equipment, etc.
- Manage maintenance technicians and onsite personnel
- Provide timely and meticulous reports regarding any operational issues.
- Ability to respond to daytime and after-hour emergencies
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should have 2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably within the high-end/luxury real estate sector. Key qualifications include exceptional customer service, attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills, adeptness at troubleshooting, an entrepreneurial mindset, comfort in a fast-paced environment, and bilingual proficiency in French and English.
