Junior Evaluation Services Consultant

Are you passionate about evaluation services and international development? We're looking for three bilingual professionals (English/French + Spanish) to support a Pay-for-Results (PfR) model evaluation in an agricultural project in Colombia. This one-year remote contract aims to assess the model's relevance, impact, and replicability. Below are the details for the Junior Evaluation Services Consultant role. About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 2+ years of experience in evaluation services
- Proven experience developing, testing, and implementing evaluation methods and tools
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis, with a focus on gender and intersectional factors
- Master's degree in political sciences, law, international development, economics, finance, business admin, project management, social sciences, engineering, or applied sciences
- Bilingualism in Spanish and English or French is required
- To be located and able to work in Canada
About the Role
If hired, you will:
- Assist in planning and executing the evaluation
- Develop and test data collection tools like surveys, interview guides, etc.
- Collect and analyze data (qualitative and quantitative), performing socio-economic, statistical, and impact analysis
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders
- Develop evaluation reports containing findings, conclusions, recommendations, lessons learned and best practices
- Ensure data is disaggregated by gender and other intersectional identity factors
- Consult women, girls and vulnerable populations to ensure perspectives are integrated
- Brief stakeholders on major results via virtual presentations
