Founded in 2013, Organigram first began as a medical cannabis provider. Today, the Company is focused on winning in the Canadian recreational market and dynamically expanding the company’s global footprint and influence.
Organigram has developed a portfolio of adult-use recreational cannabis brands including Edison, Big Bag o’ Buds, SHRED, Monjour, Holy Mountain and Trailblazer. Quebec’s WO LA, top-selling hash brand Tremblant Cannabis, and artisanal craft brand, Laurentian are also additions to Organigram’s brand portfolio. Organigram operates facilities in three provinces across the country. The primary indoor growing facility is in Moncton, New Brunswick, the premium hash production and premium cultivation facility is in Lac-Supérieur, Quebec and there is a highly automated facility dedicated to edibles manufacturing in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Company is regulated by Health Canada under the Cannabis Act (Canada) and the Cannabis Regulations (Canada).
Organigram is focused on translating operational excellence into strong financial results and return on investment for shareholders.
Job Summary
Organigram is seeking an action-oriented and results-driven Brand Manager that will lead the development and execution of our largest recreational brand activations and product innovation executions. As part of a leading Canadian cannabis Licensed Producer, you will play a critical role in driving brand growth, managing the commercialization of key innovations, and delivering best-in-class executions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our brand portfolio’s success in a highly competitive market.
This position is ideal for an innovative marketer who excels in both strategic thinking and detailed execution. You will be responsible for briefing, developing and deploying.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to drive market share, revenue & profitability.
· Manage the commercialization of new products from concept development through in-store execution and post-launch analysis.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, commercialization, finance, legal and supply chain to ensure alignment and successful execution of new product launches.
· Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform brand strategy and decision-making.
· Lead the development of marketing tactics including trade marketing, sampling, budtender engagement, event executions and social media
· Manage brand budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
· Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and adjust strategies as needed.
· Drive innovation by identifying new growth opportunities and consumer needs within the category.
· Responsible for mentoring and managing one (1) Assistant Brand Manager
Key Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
· Minimum of 5 years of brand management experience ideally within the cannabis or a consumer packaged goods (CPG) category.
· Proven track record of managing a brand’s P&L and driving profitable growth.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
· Experience with in-store marketing & social media strategies.
· Excellent copywriting, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-oriented mindset.
· Knowledge of cannabis culture, cultivation and trends an asset
· Hybrid work environment from Toronto-based office (minimum 2 days in office per week)
