We are looking for an HR advisor, global compensation who will report to the global compensation director. The successful candidate will actively participate in the design, improvement and implementation of global remuneration policies and programs. In addition, they will support a team of HR generalists in one of our divisions.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Actively participate in identifying, developing, and implementing policies, programs, processes and work tools related to comprehensive remuneration to ensure sound governance.
  • Act as an advisor to HRBPs and management on all matters relating to global remuneration.
  • Manage the annual salary review exercise as well as variable pay programs.
  • Perform various cost analyses based on financial results and budgets to ensure that remuneration programs are effective.
  • Participate in compensation surveys by collecting and analyzing market salary data to determine the company’s competitive position.
  • Prepare top quality presentations for management, HR stakeholders, and employees.
  • Participate in developing communication materials and remuneration training.
  • Participate in various projects to improve the employee experience.
  • Monitor innovative global remuneration practices internationally.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, actuarial science or a similar field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in the area of compensation. Consulting experience would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of compensation in an international context.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of various comprehensive compensation programs (job evaluation system, salary structures, variable pay plans, etc.).
  • Rigorous with proven time management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with an integrated HR system. SAP/Success Factors would be an asset.
  • Solid advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal.

The chosen candidate will be based at the Valcourt office (hybrid work mode), but must be able to travel to the Montreal office on an occasional basis.
