Our client ("Company"), a cannabis vaporization hardware tech distributor, is seeking a driven and dynamic National Sales Director in Canada to join its team and play a critical role in driving growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. This remote role blends new business generation with the management and growth of existing accounts.

As a National Sales Director, this individual will identify opportunities to expand the Company's market presence, build long-term relationships with customers, and serve as the key point of contact for Canada.

Ideal candidates are based in Canada, possess cannabis vape hardware selling experience as well as a network of cannabis LP's in Canada and working knowledge of the legal cannabis ecosystem in Canada. Experience working with/for CCELL distributors is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development

  • Identify and qualify potential new customers through research, cold-calling, and networking.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the company's products and services and demonstrate our unique value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with prospective customers, ensuring favorable terms for both the customer and the company.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand our network and increase brand visibility.

Account Management & Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnership.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all customer inquiries and concerns, working collaboratively with internal teams to provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Accounts team to ensure seamless transitions and alignment on account responsibilities.

Regional Strategy & Sales Execution

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to your assigned region to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Manage and maintain accurate data related to leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the company's CRM system.
  • Track and report on sales pipeline progress, identifying risks and opportunities to ensure targets are met.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and best practices to enhance performance and effectiveness.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations, to align sales initiatives with overall business strategy.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new customers by coordinating with support teams and overseeing initial processes.
  • Provide insights and feedback to other departments regarding customer needs, challenges, and trends in the market.
