As we continue to expand, we are looking for a high-caliber Director of Business Development to play a pivotal role in growing our footprint in North America and beyond.
The Role
This is an opportunity for a strategic and results-driven sales leader to build and manage a strong pipeline of business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new business partnerships across key industries, which could include any of the following:
- Ticketing and Events
- Sports and Participation
- Travel and Tourism
- Transport and Mobility
- Accommodation and Hospitality
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through strategic outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct compelling presentations and pitches virtually and in-person meetings to secure new partnerships.
- Develop and negotiate tailored proposals to address client needs and drive long-term value.
- Represent Protect Group at industry events and conferences, positioning the company as a leading provider in the space.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, ensuring a structured approach to pipeline management.
- Provide data-driven sales forecasts and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years proven track record in business development and lead generation, with a strong ability to secure high-value partnerships.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across various industries.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging at all levels.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to business growth.
- Well-organized with prior experience in CRM systems and structured sales processes.
