Change Management Consultant

This is a short term contract for a couple of months working for a public sector/higher education company, to support them in the early stages of change management. Their current need is to onboard a change consultant to help map out a change management process for them. The requirements for the role are listed below;


  • Create a road map of actions to be taken to restructure the organization to optimally meet its future objectives and goals.
  • Gain a good understanding of the business and roles by developing relationships with stakeholders to understand the separate teams within the organization.
  • Work with the Executive team to provide guidance and expertise on the optimal organizational structure to enable increased collaboration and communication.
  • Support change management learning within the organization to foster internal change leaders across the business.


The requisite skills that would be suitable to ensure success in the role are listed below;


  • Must be a organizational change management expert. With knowledge of change methodologies.
  • CCMP, PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to quickly understand the business and workflows.
  • Provide guidance on the process to establishing a roadmap and best practices.
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written to work with the Executive team and key stakeholders.
  • Public sector/higher educations background would be ideal.
  • Consulting background with experience in service delivery, project management, reviewing projects, and costing.


This is a contract position for an organization based in Vancouver. Therefore, this person must be authorized to work in Canada without restrictions on working hours.
